Upsyla Pearl was entered for the French Championships. She qualified with ease with her rider Léopold Galard in the P1D Excellence category.
Upsyla achieved a clear round in both the first and second rounds, which allowed her to reach the final.
Léopold played it safe by securing a third SF. A small bar fell in the jump-off, but Léopold & Upsyla still finished 7th out of 96 starters!
So, for another year in a row, I was able to attend the awards ceremony, as well as a magnificent lap of honor. This lap of honor was filled with emotion since it was Upsyla's last competition. What a proud moment to close this superb year.
Léopold has now moved on to horseback, Upsyla has gone to Brittany to rest and will then begin a small breeding career to preserve her superb lineage.
